6 DEGREES

a performance installation taking audiences

through evolving worlds & technologies

Life begins gasping for that first breath echoing the arrival of life entering this world. It remains as our constant life force, our sustenance and unwavering companion through our existence. As our atmosphere warms and oxygen levels fluctuate and our future hinges on our stewardship of Earth, the very act of breathing could become hazardous. In the ever-changing landscape of our warming planet, how long can humanity adapt? If the act of a simple inhalation of oxygen is no longer possible, what will remain of us? And what legacy do we leave behind in the world we shape and inhabit?

6 Degrees” is a performance installation that explores the boundaries of reality, where technology propels us beyond our current existence into unknown realities of the future. Inspired by the Anthropocene epoch, "6 Degrees" embarks on a journey through an evolution of performances that submerge audiences into ever-changing environments, blurring the boundaries of reality.

The environments evolve alongside immersive technologies, drawing inspiration from the escalating warming of our planet. Reflecting on the profound impact of Earth's transformations, from shaping our fundamental functions to challenging our very humanity, audiences are transported to a hypothetical future where the Earth is ravaged by 6 degrees of warming, a world devoid of humanity.
